Any entrepreneur can tell you, launching a startup is a learning process. Therefore, one of the best things you can do prior to launching a startup of your own is to learn from those who have blazed the trail. We were fortunate enough to hear some valuable insights during our interview with Bogdan Predusca of Hyperhuman that will inspire, motivate, and teach aspiring and established entrepreneurs alike.
What advice do you have for aspiring entrepreneurs?
“Entrepreneurship requires three things: commitment, perseverance, and endurance. Make sure you have enough of these things before starting your endeavour because it’s a marathon, not a sprint.”
What is your advice for entrepreneurs in your industry specifically?
“Integrated experiences focused on outcomes rather than on individual problems.”
What is your advice for coming up with a unique startup idea?
“Share it with 30 people and get their feedback, sleep over it, and then digest and iterate.”
What is your advice for overcoming challenges and failure?
“Make sure you celebrate progress with your team, even if there are only small wins — this is a great way to keep the mood high and find the energy to find solutions to any problems.”
What is the biggest lesson you learned and what can aspiring entrepreneurs take from it?
“There is no substitute for hard work, perseverance, and fast learning in the early years of a new venture. You need to learn, grow, and move — sometimes so fast that it feels like it’s unnatural or uncomfortable. Make sure you know what the trade-offs are and if you are willing to make them.”
