Founder of Food Tech Startup Quicklly Shares Their Top Insights

Quicklly founders.

Any entrepreneur can tell you, launching a startup is a learning process. Therefore, one of the best things you can do prior to launching a startup of your own is to learn from those who have blazed the trail. Keval Raj and Hanish Pahwa, founders of food tech startup Quicklly, shared valuable insights during our interview that will inspire and motivate aspiring entrepreneurs.

What advice do you have for aspiring entrepreneurs?

“Work hard and play hard.”

What is the best method you've found to avoid burnout as an entrepreneur?

“I like to balance my schedule. If I am working, I am entirely devoted to the work, and [similarly], if I am with family, then my time is entirely devoted to them. I like to take two breaks a year and do some adventures around the world.”

What is your advice for coming up with a unique startup idea?

“Keval: Take inspiration from your personal experiences. My first job was Marketing Analyst at Delivery Hero (Germany). It was a food delivery startup, but now it's a billion-dollar company. It taught me so many things as I had the firsthand experience of working for a food tech company and understanding the process of how the different levers (marketing, tech, ops, etc.) work to make it a successful company.”

What is your advice for overcoming challenges and failure?

“Entrepreneurship is a neverending journey. Every stage is significantly important and is a critical step to reaching that destination. Savor every moment. The challenges and excitement never end.”

What is the biggest lesson you learned and what can aspiring entrepreneurs take from it?

“Work hard and play hard. It keeps you motivated. Also, always listen to everyone because everyone is unique and they have something to contribute.”
