Describe your product or service:
“Nutraceutic revolution in personalized nutrition, powered by science and technology.”
Describe your company values and mission:
“Improving everyone's health and wellness through a personalized experience.”
How are you funded? I.e. venture capital, angel investors, etc.
“Venture capital.”
How big is your team? Tell us a little about them (I.e. co-founders, freelancers, etc.)
“25 (2 co-founders, 15 full time, 3 interns, 5 free[lancers]).”
Did you always want to start your own business? What made you want to become an entrepreneur?
“Yes. Since I was a kid, I wanted to become an entrepreneur, having a family of entrepreneurs myself.”
How did you come up with your startup idea? How did you decide to actually act on the idea? What gave you confidence that you were on the right track?
“I had my first entrepreneurial experience in online DTC in the US, and I wanted to have more impact in what I was building. And coming from a family of entrepreneurs in health and wellness, it was pretty natural to land on such a project.”
How did you come up with your company name? Did you have other names you considered?
“We did consider other names, but Cuure was an international name reflecting our mission/vision [perfectly].”
Who is your product or service made for? Who is your target market?
“B2C in Europe, and our target market is everyone, as we have a personalized approach.”
What's your marketing strategy?
“Digital [marketing]”
How did you acquire your first 100 customers?
“Digital acquisition.”
What are the key customer metrics / unit economics / KPIs you pay attention to to monitor the health of your business?
“CPA [cost per acquisition], LTV [customer lifetime value], AOV [average order value], repeat.”
What is something that surprised you about entrepreneurship?
“France is way harder than the US to be an entrepreneur.”
How do you achieve work/life balance as a founder?
“Naturally. I work a lot, but I can shift my mind very rapidly.”
How do you stay motivated?
“Seeing my team, my co-founder, and my customers happy!”
Did you have to develop any habits that helped lead you to success? If so, what are they?
“Meditation.”
What are you most proud of as an entrepreneur?
“Building a great team.”
