Any entrepreneur can tell you, launching a startup is a learning process. Therefore, one of the best things you can do prior to launching a startup of your own is to learn from those who have blazed the trail. We were fortunate enough to hear some valuable insights during our interview with Karl Cadet of Bodha.ai that will inspire, motivate, and teach aspiring and established entrepreneurs alike.

What advice do you have for aspiring entrepreneurs?

“My advice for aspiring entrepreneurs is to first embark on self-discovery to determine a thesis through self-interrogation and analysis that will solve a chronic everyday problem that hopefully will have a positive social impact.”

What is your advice for entrepreneurs in your industry specifically?

“We are in the software industry, and things are moving very rapidly, especially in the AI/Chatbots/IOT industry. So, it is important to perform serious research on existing solutions and possible competitors before deciding the best approach to counter these potential competitors.”

What is your advice for coming up with a unique startup idea?

“[My] best advice is to come up with an idea that mimics your life story that you can speak to with authority. Further, before leading others, it is important that one can lead oneself.”

What is your advice for overcoming challenges and failure?

“Best advice to overcome challenges and failure is to dig deep, stay grounded and adjust strategies as needed to propel growth while staying true to the vision and purpose. I’ve seen founders shift their vision and lose identity.”

What is the biggest lesson you learned and what can aspiring entrepreneurs take from it?

“I’ve learned that courage is the most critical and required trait to reach one’s mountain top.”
