Insights From the Founder of SaaS Startup Bitebell

Bitebell founder

Any entrepreneur can tell you, launching a startup is a learning process. Therefore, one of the best things you can do prior to launching a startup of your own is to learn from those who have blazed the trail. We were fortunate enough to hear some valuable insights during our interview with Željko Bošnjak of Bitebell that will inspire, motivate, and teach aspiring and established entrepreneurs alike.

What advice do you have for aspiring entrepreneurs?

“Just follow your dreams and do not get in the situation to ask yourself in [your] fifties what would be if I [had] tried.”

What is your advice for entrepreneurs in your industry specifically?

“Changing things in traditional industries is not easy. Persistence and patience are probably [the] two most important things that you need to have in order to change things in places where [it] is normal to do things in [an] old-fashioned way.”

What is your advice for coming up with a unique startup idea?

“Do not love your idea, because this can be the best and also the worst thing that can happen to you. Appreciate it, but consult with your target audience and always know that [in] most cases, there is no unique idea; you just need to do something better than others.”

What is your advice for overcoming challenges and failure?

“Everything you do, you need to go through [as] a team. [J]ust watch Al Pacino in Any Given Sunday — he explained everything.”

What is the biggest lesson you learned and what can aspiring entrepreneurs take from it?

“Stay focus[ed] and follow Pareto 80/20 rule, because at the beginning everything [seems] important, and actually it's not. Believe first in yourself and then believe even more in your team to deliver.”
