DogLog co-founder.

Any entrepreneur can tell you, launching a startup is a learning process. Therefore, one of the best things you can do prior to launching a startup of your own is to learn from those who have blazed the trail. We were fortunate enough to hear some valuable insights during our interview with the founder of pet tech startup DogLog that will inspire, motivate, and teach aspiring and established entrepreneurs alike.

What advice do you have for aspiring entrepreneurs?

“Believe in yourself, [and] hire the best people to join your journey. Do not worry if you fail, you learn from mistakes. Look for a problem and come with a great compelling solution.”

What is your advice for entrepreneurs in your industry specifically?

“We have to push digital transformation in the pets industry like we see in the people ecosystem. As pets don’t talk, we must use data in a way that will show trends and predict if there are medical issues with them.”

What is your advice for coming up with a unique startup idea?

“Look for a REAL problem and come with a compelling solution. Don’t get stuck with tiny markets but rather on real pain points.”

What is your advice for overcoming challenges and failure?

“Believe in yourself, analyze what you could do differently, hire better people next time, and keep on pushing the throttle.”

What is the biggest lesson you learned and what can aspiring entrepreneurs take from it?

“It is about the people you work with. Leadership is the most essential success factor. A great team, complementing each other, can overcome most hurdles.”
