Any entrepreneur can tell you, launching a startup is a learning process. Therefore, one of the best things you can do prior to launching a startup of your own is to learn from those who have blazed the trail. Boris Sokolov, founder of tech startup Microweber, shared valuable insights during our interview that will inspire and motivate aspiring entrepreneurs.
What advice do you have for aspiring entrepreneurs?
“Never give up! If you try to do it right, you will [probably] succeed, but it is 100% sure that if you are not trying to do it, you will fail.”
What is the best method you’ve found to avoid burnout as an entrepreneur?
“Don’t think all the time of what you are doing. Go [do] sports, [go to a] spa, change the working atmosphere. When you are feeling down, relax, take a rest and start again when you feel better.”
What is your advice for coming up with a unique startup idea?
“The new idea needs to make somebody’s life better and easier.”
What is your advice for overcoming challenges and failure?
“There are no simple rules about it. But when you start something new, you should be sure that you are rounded with the right people. Go on a long journey with good friends!”
What is the biggest lesson you learned and what can aspiring entrepreneurs take from it?
“There is no short way! There is a lot of work, and keep your mind clear and focused on what your goal is. Give your best and [pay] attention to the details.”
What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
“It won’t always be like this!”
