Insights From the Founder of Insurtech Startup Anapi

Anapi founder.

Any entrepreneur can tell you, launching a startup is a learning process. Therefore, one of the best things you can do prior to launching a startup of your own is to learn from those who have blazed the trail. We were fortunate enough to hear some valuable insights during our interview with Ruth Haller of Anapi that will inspire, motivate, and teach aspiring and established entrepreneurs alike.

Overview of Anapi

What advice do you have for aspiring entrepreneurs?

“Be ready to roll up your sleeves to take a hands-on approach. Use this as an opportunity to stretch yourself in areas that you may not have any experience in.”

What is your advice for entrepreneurs in your industry specifically?

“Keep challenging insurers when they push back [and say] change can’t happen.”

What is your advice for coming up with a unique startup idea?

“Focus on being a painkiller and not a vitamin. Solving pain points will be easier for buy-in from clients, versus creating a ‘nice-to-have’ solution.”

What is your advice for overcoming challenges and failure?

“Think of challenges and failures as opportunities to grow and become more resilient as a company and as an individual.”

What is the biggest lesson you learned and what can aspiring entrepreneurs take from it?

“It takes a village. Get connected with other entrepreneurs, find a support system, and band together with your team.”
