Template Pricing & How It Works

How does their template compare?

Similar to other legal document creators, Rocket Lawyer is a templating system. Simply select the type of document and the system will then present a series of multiple choice, yes or no, and fill in the blank questions for you to complete at your leisure.

Although we should point out their platform allows for more customization and detail than other more generalized online documentation services.

The key to Rocket Lawyer, and what separates them from others is the easy access to legal professionals that are ready and able to look over each of your documents.

With one service you’ll be able to create your corporate bylaws, have them looked through, print them off and be on your way.  And you can rest easy that your legal documents are well prepared and as up-to-date as possible.

How Do I Sign Up?

If you’re ready to give Rocket Lawyer a go, there’s a few things to consider.  Rocket Lawyer breaks their packages into two options: Premium and Accelerate.  The two are divided by the number of features available to a member.

Rocket Lawyer Monthly Pricing

If neither of these options are appealing, it might be best to try their free trial. For 7 days, you can have premium access to their services. You’re also able to ask one specific question to their legal professionals while you’re creating your corporate bylaws.

Unlimited access to legal documents Rocketlawyer

And if you are looking for low commitment, they do offer single document purchases that cost between $5-$70. The price is reflective of the complexity. Bear in mind though, you can’t create and check out as a guest.  A profile must be created and completed in order to download/print your documents. They do add, “We store your documents under your profile on our secure system so you can review, revise, or retrieve them whenever you want,” but it’s not our favorite feature.

As a general recommendation, pay close attention to all the fine print at checkout. The number one complaint that we’ve seen is from Rocket Lawyer customers is that they felt they were being overcharged. That’s not explicitly true, but double checking they your documents only include what you want them too is vital. It’s important to cross your T’s and dot your I’s so you don’t end up paying for something that you didn’t need in the first place.
