InCorp LLC REVIEW

Are They A Good Service To Use?

Incorp LLC ReviewAre you forming a new LLC and considering using an online formation service? Maybe you find the legalese and red tape of the DIY route unappealing, or you’re sick of navigating confusing state resource websites. Trust me, I’ve been there too.

As a supplement to your own research, my team and I invested hundreds of hours into learning the differences between all the major online LLC formation services. Rather than trying to talk you into using one service or another, I’d like to give you the info you need to make an informed decision for your business.

In this InCorp LLC review, we’ll look at the pros and cons, pricing, features, customer feedback and much more. Read on and find out if they’re a good fit for your company!

InCorp Pros & Cons

Pros

  1. They have great customer feedback, with an A+ rating and 125 positive reviews out of 132 total ratings on BBB.org.

  2. With 250,000+ active clients, InCorp is one of the most popular online legal services in the entire country.

  3. If you add registered agent service, they offer some great discounts for volume orders. Customers who pre-pay for 5 years or more can get registered agent for just $66 per year, which is one of the lowest rates in the industry.

  4. They take your security seriously, protecting their site with McAfee SECURE which scans for malware and encrypts your private data, and GeoTrust which confirms website identities.

  5. InCorp has a price match that guarantees they’ll beat any competitor’s price on the same product or service.

Cons

  1. Their $99 LLC formation package is pretty barebones for the price. There are cheaper services out there that include more features.

InCorp LLC Pricing & Features

Pricing and FeaturesInCorp offers one standard $99 rate for LLC formation services, with a number of add-on features available on an a la carte basis. This rate only includes the essentials like a business name availability check, and preparation and filing of your articles of organization.

Let’s take a look at the features you can add on.

First off, we’ve got the registered agent service that is InCorp’s calling card. Registered agent is their most popular feature, and it’s no surprise because they offer some great volume discounts. Most companies require this service to receive and forward important business documents, so adding at least 1 year is a good idea.

Domestic Mail Forwarding ($195): As your registered agent, InCorp will receive and forward any mail you receive from state or other government agencies. Ordering this service expands that to include all mail. You can have anything sent to InCorp and they’ll forward it all to you physically.

LLC Kit and Seal ($69 + $18-24 shipping): A slipcase binder to organize your important formation documents, along with a seal embossed with your company name.

Certificates of Good Standing ($63 for 1, $35 for each additional copy): Document that shows your LLC is compliant with state guidelines and requirements.

“Limited Liability Companies For Dummies” Book ($24.99): A comprehensive guide to a wide variety of common issues that arise when operating an LLC.

Federal Tax ID Number or EIN ($69): Allows you to hire employees, file business taxes and open a bank account for your company.

Preparation of IRS Form SS-4 ($35): This is the EIN application document. If you would rather fill it out yourself, the $69 EIN service will be sufficient.

Customer Reviews

Customer ReviewsThe vast majority of InCorp’s online reviews can be found on BBB.org, and most of those are highly positive. Their customers rave about the great support they receive from InCorp’s helpful employees, as well as the efficiency of their services.

Conclusion: With just a few critical reviews that largely revolve around billing issues, InCorp’s overwhelmingly positive customer feedback is a great indicator that they’re trustworthy.

How Does InCorp LLC Compare?

InCorp Review ComparisonWith as many hours as I’ve invested into researching LLC formation providers, I’ve realized that some of them simply offer better values than others. Of course, the goal here is still to determine which service hits the sweet spot of pricing and features for your business.

InCorp is a great provider of LLC formation service. Thanks to their high volume of satisfied clients and top-notch customer feedback. Still, it’s always a good idea to keep an eye on the competition, so let’s take a quick look at my personal favorite, IncFile.

Pricing: With a baseline price point of $49 for LLC formation service, IncFile can save you $50 over InCorp.

Features: IncFile offers a year of registered agent service in any formation package, which costs extra with InCorp. Additionally, IncFile provides a 1-hour business tax consultation that InCorp doesn’t offer.

Turnaround Time: InCorp and IncFile can both complete your formation in as little as 24 hours in some states. In others, it can take up to 8 weeks. If you want an estimate from InCorp just give them a call, while with IncFile you can find estimates on their website.

Customer Support: InCorp has extended customer support hours that run from 9am to 9pm ET every weekday, and many of their customer reviews specifically compliment their service reps. IncFile is available from 10am to 7pm ET Monday through Friday and their support agents also have a good reputation.

Businesses Formed So Far: IncFile has helped form over 100,000 businesses since they opened their doors in 2004. On the other hand, InCorp has 250,000+ active clients right now across the country.
