3 Simple Steps To Changing The World Through Entrepreneurship

3 Simple Steps To Changing The World Through Entrepreneurship There are two rules I try my best to live by:

1) Be a decent human being.

2) Always be investing.

Now I know you’ve got the first rule covered. You’re special. That’s easy to see. But the second rule is a tricker one. So in this ‘article confession’ I’d like to talk to you about something that took me years to learn after building a business in the outsourcing and health industry – and only started to really apply while Startup Savant was being built.

Always be investing.

You can do this by reading self-help/business books; investing in the best tax solutions to give you peace of mind or spending more time with your loved ones.

But the one thing I didn’t realize until more recently is that something was missing for me. My businesses weren’t making an actual positive change. It honestly made me sick to my stomach.

So with the council of the Startup Savant team and a little help from Start Something That Matters by Blake Mycoskie, we decided to move in a more positive direction for Startup Savant.

Our entire focus is to invest in the incredible entrepreneurs who are building tomorrow’s small businesses (like yourself) and to give you a safe place for entrepreneurship.

We also invest in our future by donating a large portion of our revenue to support children’s education via DonorsChoose.org through our partnerships with companies like LivePlan, Rocket Lawyer, BizFilings, and BlueHost.

By always investing you are also playing a role in changing the world. You are fighting for something you believe in through your business ventures.

Changing the world

If you’re ready to take the leap, here are an additional three things you should do:

1) Read Walk Through Fire by Eric T. Wagner to help you blast through entrepreneurial struggles on a daily basis.

2) Read Start Something That Matters by Blake Mycoskie and figure out how you can incorporate giving into your business. You’ll also read why giving back as a business is really smart move and why TOMS has reached such success because of their mission to make a difference.

3) Subscribe to the Startup Savant newsletter. Shameless plug, I know, but there are incredible entrepreneurs here at Startup Savant who are sharing what they’ve learned through years of trial and error and will help you build your dream business. You’ll get our weekly newsletter with fresh content, delivered right to your inbox.

Find your North Star and watch incredible things happen.
